After a week of working on it, I finally finished the Atari 2600 post for the interests section of the website. This was very ambitios of me, as I wrote and edited everything for about 3 days and even took countless photos to add some flair to the post. It really felt like I was putting all of my creative energy into making this post as great as it could be. I even had to refrain myself as I wanted to go more into detail about some of the homebrew games I have. I also wanted to talk about some of the weird quirks that developers used to add features to their games. (for instance, some games like Turmoil will let you pause the game by flicking the TV switch to black and white) Still, I am pleased with the reslults and hopefully everyone reading it will enjoy it.
I'm also glad I made it as I was able to properly talk about the system without having to worry about something like Tik Tok restricting it. Basically, I had made a video on there asking if anyone else like the Atari 2600, and the footage was just me hovering over a 2600 with some games around it. That post got flagged for Alcohol and Tobacco
usage, which wasn't the case at all. I was able to get that report appealed, but by then the video was over a week old and wasn't getting pushed as heavily anymore. I do wonder if the video was flagged as the game cartridges can look like cigarette packs, but now I don't have to worry about that when I post on here.
Now with that entry out of the way, I can work more on adding sections to the website and do more drafts on blogs and interests post ideas. I'm really enjoying seeing this site grow and I can't wait to have everything up like I'm picturing it in my head. Until then, thank you for reading and I hope you have fun looking around my page.
